JUNIOR Members

The La Puerta De Oro–San Francisco Chapter Junior Membership is an active and growing group of young women. The entire chapter enjoys attending their frequent special events and fundraisers. Our Juniors' current and recent projects include a benefit for wounded veterans, and service projects for the San Francisco Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital.  Additionally, Juniors of our chapter meet regularly for social functions on evenings and weekends.

Any DAR member age 18 through 35 years (until her 36th birthday) is a Junior Member. Junior members hold full DAR membership and may serve as an officer or chairman at the national, state, and chapter levels. Additionally, Juniors can serve as a Pages, otherwise known as “ladies in white.” Pages can participate at the State Conference, Council meetings, teas, and other State Society events.

Junior Membership is a great way to make new friends, to interact with amazing women, and give back to our local San Francisco community. More detailed information about Junior Membership can be found on the CSSDAR website or by contacting our Junior Member Chair.
